Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MatchupSkills (matchupskills.id), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Service Description

MatchupSkills is an AI-powered interactive learning platform. We convert documents, images, and links into gamified learning experiences, and provide exam preparation, scholarship essay review, and language practice tools.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• One account per person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

4. Credits and Subscriptions

• Free (Explorer) plan accounts receive a one-time allocation of 150 credits on sign-up.
• Scholar and Researcher plans are paid monthly subscriptions with a 30-day credit cycle.
• Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unused credits at the end of a billing cycle expire.
• Subscription prices are shown in USD and charged in IDR via our payment processor (Midtrans). Final IDR amounts reflect the exchange rate at time of payment.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract model outputs at scale for commercial use.
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, payment systems, or access controls.
• Use automated bots or scrapers to interact with the platform.

6. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of content you upload (documents, images). By uploading, you grant MatchupSkills a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. AI-Generated Content

MatchupSkills uses third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude). AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying important information before acting on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

The MatchupSkills brand, platform design, and proprietary software are owned by MatchupSkills. AI-generated learning experiences created from your material are for your personal use; you may not redistribute them commercially without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchupSkills is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or modify the service at any time for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@matchupskills.id.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jakarta, Indonesia.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
